Abstract:
To provide a DC motor capable of suppressing vibration and noise caused by a magnetic flux density distribution waveform.SOLUTION: A motor 100 is a DC motor having a rotor provided with a commutator 7 and being rotatable about a central axis and a stator provided with a brush 10 in contact with the commutator 7. The stator includes two pieces of arcuate magnets 2a, 2b disposed in a second rotational symmetry. Respective magnets 2a, 2b have a N pole and a S pole. Between the N pole and the S pole of respective magnets 2a, 2b, a magnetic pole transition section 12 is provided in which surface magnetic flux density slowly transits from respective centers of the N pole and the S pole toward a boundary of the N pole and the S pole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
