To provide a motor that can be used in a wide range of applications.SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes: a shaft; an amateur having a commutator; a pair of brushes 20; and a first connection portion 71 and a second connection portion 72, each of which can be electrically connected to an external terminal 885. Each of the first connection portion 71 and the second connection portion 72 and the pair of brushes 20 are electrically connected. Polarity of the pair of brushes 20 in which the external terminal 885 is connected to the first connection portion 71 is opposite to polarity of the pair of brushes 20 in which the external terminal 885 is connected to the second connection portion 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
