Abstract:
To provide a motor in which a brush is prevented from protruding from a brush accommodation part, without shortening an effective abrasion length of the brush.SOLUTION: A motor comprises: a rotor 20 including a rotary shaft 21; a rectifier 50 fitted to the rotary shaft 21; a brush 60 in contact with the rectifier 50; a brush holding member 90 in which an opening 91a is provided at the side of the rectifier 50 and which includes a brush accommodation part 91 for accommodating the brush 60 therein; a pigtail wire 70 which is a conductive wire connected to the brush 60; and a wall 92 which is a hook structure to which a portion of the pigtail wire 70 is hooked when the brush 60 accommodated in the brush accommodation part 91 is moved out of the opening 91a. The pigtail wire 70 includes a hard portion 71 which is harder than the other portion and in the pigtail wire 70, an exposed portion for a predetermined length from a connection location with the brush 60 includes a portion which is the hard portion 71 and hooked to the wall 92 when the brush 60 accommodated in the brush accommodation part 91 is moved out of the opening 91a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
