Title:
MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3301303
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can change output torque with a simple structure without using an expensive power unit for controlling the supply of voltage (current) to an armature.
SOLUTION: This motor 10 is provided with a motor part 34 consisting of an armature 36, the first pole element 38 and the second pole element 40, and a slide bevel gear 30 engaging with the bevel gear 26 of an input shaft 12. The slide bevel gear 30 moves in the axial direction according to steering torque, which is transmitted by a pressure lever 54 and the second pole element 40 is rotated and moved. As a result, the opposing position between the first pole element 38 and the second pole element 40 is changed, so that polarity changes, and driving force corresponding to steering torque is outputted. The energizing direction to the armature 36 is switched by an energization switching mechanism 62 according to steering direction, thus it is possible to meet either of right or left steering.
