Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce eddy current being induced in a field magnet through variation of the field caused by conduction and interruption of an armature coil in a motor where the field magnet is provided for any one of the stator or rotor and the armature coil is provided for the other.
CONSTITUTION: A field magnet 14 carried on a rotor 9 is split axially into a plurality of segments 15 which are insulated mutually by means of a magnetic plate member 16 coated with an insulation layer. Since the passage of eddy current flowing into the magnet 14 is limited, the eddy current can be reduced.
