Abstract:
To provide a motorcycle having a lightened construction around a drive wheel.
Rotation output from a crankshaft 40 of an engine 31 is decelerated by a speed change mechanism 35 to be transmitted to an output shaft 34. The output shaft 34 has a first pulley 73 fixed thereto. A second pulley 75 is connected to a rear wheel 9 acting as the drive wheel. A toothed belt 76 is wound around a first pulley 73 and a second pulley 75. The toothed belt 76 transmits the power from the output shaft 34 to the rear wheel 9 via the first pulley 73 and second pulley 75. A swing arm 8 supports the rear wheel 9 in a swinging manner around the output shaft 34.
