Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mount a fuel tank on a motorcycle body frame with a small man- hour. CONSTITUTION: The fuel tank 35 is blow-molded of a resin. Hanger parts expanded in the right-to-left direction are integrally formed during the blow molding. The hanger parts are hooked to upper edges of motorcycle body frames 111L and 111R. A cross plate 113 fitted to a lower surface of a step floor is engaged with an upper part of the fuel tank 35. The fuel tank 35 can be fitted to the motorcycle body only by mounting the fuel tank 35 on the motorcycle body frame, and covering the step floor thereon in a fixing manner.
