Abstract:
To provide an economical earth retaining structure capable of suppressing increase of a cross section of a soldier pile by reducing a back side pressure (back water pressure+back earth pressure) acting on an earth retaining wall while constructing the earth retaining wall on a soldier-beam and horizontal-sheathing wall without water shielding properties by arranging a water shielding part on a back ground in the ground condition with a high ground water level.SOLUTION: An earth retaining wall is provided with: an earth retaining wall 1 constructed using a soldier-beam and horizontal-sheathing wall; and a water shielding part 2 arranged on a back ground G1 of the earth retaining wall 1, wherein the water shielding part 2 is constructed as the water shielding wall 2 bearing a back water pressure by a soil cement wall without a core material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
