To provide a mounting base protection member of a heater, attachable to a mounting base of the heater regardless of the shape and size of the mounting base.
The mounting base 2 with a heat source 1 of the heater and a frame body A surrounding the heat source 1 attached thereto is provided, in the periphery of the mounting base 2, with a floor surface contact part 2a in contact with a floor surface, and a circumferential wall part 2b raised toward the outside from the periphery of the floor surface contact part 2a; and the circumferential wall part 2b is composed of curved-line parts 4 constituting four corner parts, and straight-line parts 5 and a curvature part 6 located between the curved line parts 4. A part of each protection member 7 arranged between the mounting base 2 and the floor surface is extended to an edge part 3 of the circumferential wall part 2b and engaged and held with/to the edge part 3, and the protection members 7 are arranged only on the straight-line parts 5 or the curvature part 6 excluding the curved-line parts 4. Since the shapes of the edge parts 3 of the circumferential wall part 2b at the straight-line parts 5 and the curvature part 6 for engaging and holding the protection members 7 therewith/thereto never vary greatly even when the size and shape of the mounting base 2 varies, the protection member 7 having high versatility and adaptable to any mounting base 2 can be provided.
