To provide a mounting base for a vibrator in which the vibrator with a grinding material on a vibration surface is mounted so as to set the vibration surface to be upward and a cutting edge of a blade can be ground by being pressed to the face of the vibrating grinding material.

The mounting base for the vibrator is characterized in that two U-shaped frame bodies 2, 2a are fixed parallelly opposingly on the upper face of a base plate 1 at a prescribed interval and cushioning materials 6 are provided on the inside faces of L-shaped vibrator laying part 4, 4a, 5, and 5a and on the inside faces of each upstanding plate c, d, e, and f that comes into contact with the inside faces of the L-shaped vibrator laying parts inside the upper end parts of the upstanding plates c, d, e, and f of the frame bodies 2, 2a.
