To provide a mounting cap which can easily be mounted and resists coming-off and prevents rattles even during running of an automobile.
A mounting cap 1 which covers the upper mount 2 of a suspension from above, includes an arm-like cap body 10, an outer peripheral protrusion 12 provided so as to project outward over the entire circumference from the lower end outer peripheral surface thereof and a plurality of leg parts 11 provided so as to project downward in a plurality of locations in a circumferential direction from the lower end opening edge of the cap body. The mounting cap 1 is internally fitted to a mount installation hole 30 by pressure welding a plurality of leg parts 11 to the upper surface of an outside member 21 and an outer peripheral projection 12 to the inner peripheral surface of an annular collar 31 by upward repulsion through the pressure-welding to leg parts 11.
