To improve the strength of a fastening rail used in a rolling stock body structure or the like.
A fastening rail 20 is constituted by forming an L-shaped member by a vertical part 21 protruded downward from a face plate 12b of a hollow extrusion shape 11 and a horizontal part 22 protruded in parallel to the face plate 12b from a tip end of the vertical part and setting up integrally the fellow horizontal parts of this L-shaped member opposed to each other to the face plate. A head of a bolt is mounted in the fastening rail 20, an equipment is set up to a lower surface of the horizontal part. In the horizontal part 22, a surface facing the face plate 12b is placed in a distance therefrom receding in accordance with going to a tip end from a part connected to the vertical part 21. In this way, when the mass of the equipment acts in the horizontal part 22, the horizontal part is placed in the initial condition, strength of the fastening rail 20 can be improved.
