PURPOSE: To block transmission of fine displacement vibration, by crushing an air gap in an elastic unit and applying precompression to the elastic unit.

CONSTITUTION: A buffer rod 7 comprises an internal cylinder 13, the first member, connected to a power unit 1 through a bracket 21, and an internal cylinder 14, the first member, connected to a car body 6 through a bracket 22. The internal cylinders 13, 14 are press fitted and supported respectively to a pair of resilient units 11, 12, haing the prescried spring constants, while the resilient units 11, 12 are press fitted and held respectively to a pair of external cylinders 9, 10, the second member. The external cylinders 9, 10 are linked by a linkage member 8. A pair of air gaps 23, 24, 25, 26 are formed respectively to the resilient units 11, 12, and one air gap 23 in one resilient unit 11 is interposed under pressure and crushed by the internal cylinder 13 and the external cylinder 9.
