To provide a mounting device for a roof member which enables the roof member to be simply and easily mounted on a substrate material of a roof structure without the use of a nail, a bolt or a nut, and can rationalize the workability of mounting.
This mounting device for the roof member 1 laid on the substrate W of the roof structure is equipped with a first fixing member 3 which is composed of an protrusive engaging part 2, and a second fixing member 5 which is composed of a recessed part 4 to be engaged subject to the engagement/disengagement of the first fixing part 3. Either of the first and second fixing members 3 and 5 is formed on the backside of the roof member 1, and the other fixing member is formed on the top surface side of the substrate W of the roof structure. The fixing members for the substrate W are arranged at intervals at least equivalent to laying intervals between the roof members 1 along the longitudinal direction of the roof and in the direction of the slope of the roof. The roof member 1 is fixed to the substrate W by engaging the engaging part 2 of the fixing member 3 with the part 4 of the fixing member 5.
