PURPOSE: To provide an equipment that is an equipment for mounting ceramic scroll in a metal engine block and can mount it with properly compensating the difference of thermal expansion character of two elements.

CONSTITUTION: The mounting equipment has a first ceramic ring 60, cross keys 66, 68 between the ceramic ring and a radial inner wall of a scroll, cross keys 74, 78 between a cylindrical wall of the engine block and the first ceramic ring, and a second ceramic ring 62 that is installed between a mounting shoulder 28 of the engine block and the first ceramic ring, and has an annular shoulder 90 engaged with shoulder 88 of the scroll. Furthermore, the equipment is so constituted that it has a seal 94 for air-sealing the space between the mounting shoulder and the second ceramic ring, and has fastening means 104, 112 for fastening the second ceramic ring on the mounting shoulder in the space of seal.
