To provide a mounting frame apparatus which allows the operator to fix an article such as a faucet from a front surface, ensures the fixture of the article to a mounting surface, and facilitates mounting of the article.
The mounting frame apparatus is provided with a mounting frame main body, engaging pieces, male screw members, and a guide member. The mounting frame main body is arranged on the mounting surface of a mounting substrate on which the article is mounted. The engaging pieces are inserted into respective mounting holes of the mounting substrate from the side of the mounting surface and arranged so as to abut on a rear surface of the mounting substrate, whereby the mounting substrate is retained on both the front and rear sides thereof by the engaging pieces and the mounting frame main body in cooperation therewith. The male screw members pierce the respective mounting holes to fasten the mounting frame main body and the engaging pieces together, and apply a fastening force onto the mounting substrate by the mounting frame main body and the engaging pieces. The guide member guides the engaging pieces in a suitable direction. According to the mounting frame apparatus, at least two engaging pieces are arranged on a peripheral portion of the mounting frame main body.
