Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable internal fitting even when the depth width of the style of an inner shoji screen is increased.
CONSTITUTION: In a shoji screen adopting an internal fitting system, a wind stopper 10, in which a main body section for an inner shoji screen and a main body section for an outer shoji screen are formed in a different step, is mounted at a place in a recessed groove between lower-frame inner and outer rails 2, 3 and oppositely faced to the meeting-style section lower end faces of the inner and outer shoji screens 5, 6. The lower edge of the indoor sidewall of a lower style 5c is positioned at a section upper than the lower edge of an outdoor sidewall in the inner shoji screen 5, and the lower-end section indoor side of the style of the inner shoji screen 5 is notched and a notched section 5c is formed. Since the inner shoji screen 5 is installed normally under the alternate state in the horizontal direction slightly between the inner shoji screen 5 and the outer shoal screen 6, a space between the indoor side and the outdoor side of the lower end section of the meeting style of the inner shoji screen is formed in size smaller than a space between the indoor sidewall surface of the lower style of the outer shoal screen and an inner rail. A space between the indoor side and the outdoor side of the outdoor-sidewall lower end section of the lower style of the inner shoji screen is further shaped in size smaller than a space between the indoor sidewall surface of the lower style of the outer shoji screen and the rise wall section of the main body section for the wind-stopper inner shoji screen.
