PURPOSE: To conduct mounting operation having excellent operating efficiency by resetting constraint on a dead space as ranking in a group.
CONSTITUTION: Part numbers in part arrangement data on a printed substrate are divided into dead space groups limited by the surfaces of dead spaces at the time of operation of an inserting head 9, and the temporary ranking of insertion including operation generating nonconformity on the dead spaces on insertion in other dead space groups and the shortening of the part-supply waiting time generated in the same dead space group is set by a temporary ranking setting means 16 for each part number. That is, when temporary ranking is executed, constraint on the dead spaces appearing in each dead space is reset as in-group ranking by an in-group ranking setting means 18. Accordingly, the waiting time of movement of a table is removed, thus improving operating efficiency.
