Abstract:
PURPOSE: To exchange a probe without breaking an adapter and set the position of the probe accurately.
CONSTITUTION: An dapter 10 which consists of a cylindrical section 11 and a flange section 12 and in which a screw 13 is formed on the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical section 11 is screwed in a brake shoe 2 via a spacer 31. A circumferential groove 22 is provided at an tip of a column section 21. Further, a flange section 23 is provided at rear end. A probe 24 of a wear detector 20 is inserted, and a snap ring 32 is provided in the circumferential groove 22. A spring 33 is provided between the flange section 12 of the adapter 10 and the flange section 23 of the probe 24.
