In the mounting structure of a cross member 1 respectively connecting vehicles 2 away from each other on both right and left sides, the both vehicles 2 are respectively provided with inclination parts 2a, 2b, the vehicle rear side of which are more inclined in a direction of facing each other to approach each other than a vehicle front side. End parts 1a, 1b of the cross member 1 are provided with inclination surfaces 7a, 8a corresponding to the inclination parts 2a, 2b of the vehicles 2, and mounted by overlapping the inclination surfaces 7a, 8a along the inclination parts 2a, 2b of the vehicles 2.
