PURPOSE: To easily make possible the fixing of a cooling fan to an electronic equipment and electrically connecting the cooling fan with a printed wiring board, by using more simple structure.

CONSTITUTION: Parallel trenches 3, 3 are formed on the fan frame 2 of a cooling fan 1. A notched part 15 or a protruding part which have side edges 14, 14 whose interval is equal to the bottom interval (j) of the trenches 3, 3 is formed on a printed wiring board 4. The side edges 14, 14 are engaged with the trenches 3, 3, and the fan frame 2 of the cooling fan is fixed to the printed wiring board 4. The fixed cooling fan 1 is electrically connected with the printed wiring board 4 by using an edge connector 7 built in the fan frame 2 of the cooling fan and a protruding segment 17 having a contact pattern 18 formed on the wiring board 4. A bonding slit 9 of the edge connector 7 is formed on the same plane as the trenches 3, 3 formed on the fan frame 9, and the edge connector 7 is mounted on the fan frame 2 so as to face the bonding slit 9 toward the insertion direction of the printed wiring board 4.
