Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electric supercharger 17 from entering the inside of a vehicle at the time of vehicle collision.SOLUTION: In an engine room 2 of a vehicle, an internal combustion engine 1 is mounted in a horizontally installed manner together with a transmission unit 13. An electric supercharger 17 including a centrifugal type compressor is fixed on the housing upper surface of the transmission unit 13, and when viewed above the vehicle, the area occupied by the transmission unit 13 and the area occupied by the electric supercharger 17 are overlapped. Since the transmission unit 13 to be a rigid body is prevented from entering the inside of the vehicle at the time of vehicle collision, the electric supercharger 17 is also prevented from entering the inside of the vehicle.
