Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006162387
Kind Code:

To provide a mounting structure of an electronic monitoring device to be mounted on a tire capable of mounting the electronic monitoring device to be mounted on the tire always in the correct and accurate mounting direction, and measuring accurately a physical quantity such as an acceleration applied to the tire inner surface or a strain.

In this execution form, a mounting patch 2 wherein the electronic monitoring device 1 including a sensor for measuring the physical quantity such as the acceleration or the strain on the tire W is buried is mounted in a prescribed direction on the inner surface side of a tread Wa of the tire W. In the first execution form, when mounting the electronic monitoring device 1 directly on the inner surface side of the tread Wa of the tire W, a discrimination means 3 for indexing the mounting direction is displayed on the surface of the electronic monitoring device 1 in Figure 2 (unillustrated) in order to mount the electronic monitoring device 1 in the correct and accurate mounting direction. As the discrimination means 3, though an arrow is displayed in an execution form in Figure 2, one means selected from a character, a figure, a mark, a punch and color-coding can be used without being limited to the discrimination means 3.
