Abstract:
To always provide a stable sensor output without changing the structure of an electrostatic capacitance type sensor.
The structure of the electrostatic capacitance type sensor comprises: a substrate 12 having a ground electrode 11 on its surface; a mold resin 14 that comes into contact with the ground electrode 11 on its bottom surface and stores an electrostatic capacitance type sensor chip 13 in it; and a lead frame 15 that supports the mold resin 14 and functions as an output terminal from the electrostatic capacitance type sensor chip 13 to the substrate 12. The lead frame 15 is connected to the substrate 12 in a projecting section 16 formed on the surface of the substrate 12.
