Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve supporting rigidity of accessories by fixing one end part of an idle pulley bracket to a free end part of an accessory mounting bracket fixed to a side wall part of an engine main unit, and supporting the other end part of this pulley bracket fixed to the engine main unit.
CONSTITUTION: In cylinder block right/left side wall parts of an engine main unit 10, an alternator 13 and an air conditioner compressor 14 are fixed through individual mounting brackets 13a, 14a in a condition protruded to the front (engine front side). To free end parts of these mounting brackets 13a, 14a, one ends of idle pulley brackets 17d, 18d for mounting idle pulleys 17c, 18c and tension devices 17, 18 are fixed by bolts 21. The other end parts of each pulley bracket 17d, 18d, in a condition that the other end parts of the fellow are superposed in the front surface central part of the engine main unit 10, are fixed to a cylinder head by bolts 22. In this way, mounting rigidity of the mounting bracket is reinforced.
