PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for the filling of a caulking material by fitting a heat-resisting glass into a glass fitting groove through a flexible gasket, forming a foamed flame-retardant body at the time of heating and closing a clearance.
CONSTITUTION: A gasket 20 is fitted into a glass fitting groove 11 recessed to the inner circumferential wall of an opening 13, and a heat-resisting glass 30 is held in a glass fitting recessed section 23 bored to one side edge. A block section 40 obtained by solidifying a material forming a flame-restardant foam under a specified temperature condition is formed to the front of the gasket 20, the open edge of the glass fitting groove 11. The mixed material of a carbide forming material, a foamed material and a binding material is used as a block- section forming material, the heat-resisting glass 30 is mounted, and the block- section 40 forming material is piled up at the edge section of the glass fitting groove 11 and dried and solidified. The block section 40 is changed into a flame-retardant carbide by heat at the time of a fire and foamed at the same time to close the clearance of the heat-resisting glass 30 and the glass fitting groove 11 while foamed flame-retardant body itself pushes the heat-resisting glass 30, and the falling of the heat-resisting glass 30 is prevented.
