Abstract:
To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor and a mounting structure thereof capable of suppressing a crack, reducing an ESR, and increasing the capacity.SOLUTION: In a multilayer ceramic capacitor 10 including a stacked body 12 including a plurality of stacked dielectric layers 14 and a plurality of stacked internal electrode layers 16, and an external electrode 24 connected to the internal electrode layer 16 and disposed on the end faces 12e and 12f of the stacked body 12, the external electrode 24 includes a resin external electrode layer 26 including a thermosetting resin and a conductive filler, and a base electrode layer 28 containing glass and a conductive metal, and the resin external electrode layer 26 is disposed so as to directly cover one of the end faces 12e and 12f when the end faces 12e and 12f are divided into two, and the base electrode layer 28 is disposed so as to directly cover the other end face of the end faces 12e and 12f when the end faces 12e and 12f are divided into two.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
