PURPOSE: To enlarge a panel area to a door on the whole by making the apparent width of a stile smaller than a backset.

CONSTITUTION: In this mounting structure, attaching a lever handle lock 1 to a stile 3 of a door 5 where a panel is housed in the framing with a handle box 2 with a span of apparent width larger than of this stile 3, a rim lock or body of this lever handle lock 1 is housed in a handle box 2. In this constitution, it is not directly attached to the stile 3, whereby the apparent width of the stile 3 can be made smaller than a backset, the extension of a panel area in relation to the whole door 5 is thus achievable.
