Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main rope support capable of being easily and temporarily provided in a short period of time on an uppermost step part of a wedge-type scaffold.SOLUTION: A main rope support 1, which is mounted in such a manner as to protrude to the upside with respect to an uppermost tread board 80 in assembly of a wedge-type scaffold 50, is used to stretch the main rope 10 on its protruding upper part. The main rope support 1 includes a vertically-elongated support body 2. The support body 2 is provided with wedges 6 capable of being inserted from above into wedge retainers 62A-62D provided in a scaffold support 60 of the wedge-type scaffold 50.
