A compressor is formed such that the spring constant of a first support member 710 to support a compression mechanism Cp is decreased to a value lower than the spring constant of a second support member 720. Since vibration generated by the compression mechanism Cp is absorbed by a first support member 710, transmission of vibration from a motor-driven compressor 100 to a vehicle. Meanwhile, vehicle vibration is absorbed by the second support member 720 having a spring constant higher than that of the first support member 710. This constitution suppresses transmission of vibration of the motor-driven compressor 100 to a vehicle and prevents early fatigue destruction of piping.
