To provide a mounting structure of a physical quantity detection element on a substrate dispensing with change of a substrate pattern even when the direction wherein the physical quantity is detected is different, capable of reducing a work load and improving convenience.
This mounting structure is used for mounting a unit 20 having a physical quantity detection element for detecting the physical quantity in the detection object axial direction on the substrate 25. The unit 20 has a mounting part 21 for the substrate for mounting on the substrate 25, and an output terminal 15 provided on the different face from the face having it. The substrate 25 has a mounting part 24 for the unit formed corresponding to the mounting part 21 for the substrate, and a substrate input terminal 26 provided on the position apart from the mounting part for the unit. The mounting part 24 for the unit and the mounting part 21 for the substrate are formed to be rotationally symmetric by 90 degrees with respect to each center point, and the output terminal 15 and the substrate input terminal 26 are connected thereto.
