Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission socket that is attachable to both chucking devices, namely, a drill or collet chucking device and a socket anvil chucking device.SOLUTION: The power transmission socket is for a rotary cutting tool attachable to/detachable from a chucking device provided to the tip of a rotary shaft in a rotation driving device, and a socket body 3 provided with an attaching shaft part 7 held by the chucking device is provided with: a drill attaching hole 11 that enables a center drill 9 to be detached and replaced; and an annular tool attaching part 17 that enables an annular cutting tool 15 to be detached and replaced. The attaching shaft part 7 is provided with a first shaft 19 that is integrally provided to the socket body 3 on a side opposite the drill attaching hole 11. The cross-sectional shape of the first shaft 19 is regular polygonal, and the outer surface 19B of each side exhibiting a polygonal shape is formed on a recessed curve surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
