To provide a mounting structure for a push knob capable of preventing misalignment between a support member and a base, even when there is dimensional deviation or difference in the thermal expansion coefficients.
The mounting structure comprises a base 7 with a substrate 3 fixed thereto, a push switch 4 that is mounted onto the substrate 3 with a shaft 5 sliding along the axial direction and that generates signals through the sliding of the shaft 5, a push knob 6 that has an engagement part 8 engaged with the shaft 5 and that receives a pushing operation in the axial direction to cause the push switch 4 to generate signals, and a support member 10 that has a guide projection 14 for guiding the pushing operation on the push knob 6 through sliding of the engagement part 8 and that prevents tilting of the push knob 6, when it receives the pushing operation. The support member 10 is mounted to the base 7 with a gap G provided between the base 7 and itself, the gap G allowing the support member 10 to be movable in the radial direction of the push knob 6.
