Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the mounting structure of a seat for a vehicle which is remarkably excellent in safety, having strength usually and being cable of absorbing shock load in case of any shock load applied thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A bolthole 3 is formed in a cross member 2 on a car body, side, and a fixed bracket 7 is fixed to the end of the lower rail 5 of the longitudinal slide mechanism of a seat for a vehicle. A bol&verbar hole 7a is formed in the fixed bracket 7. A notch 21 is formed successively to the bol&verbar hole 7a of the fixed bracket 7. In case of any shock added to the seat for a vehicle, the fixed bracket 7 is deformed to absorb the shock load.
