Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a sedimenter capable of improving the protective function of the sedimenter in vehicle collision time.SOLUTION: An installation structure of a sedimenter is the installation structure of the sedimenter for installing the sedimenter 50 in a suspension tower 14 via a support member 60. The support member 60 comprises a back wall 61 and a curved wall 62 as a peripheral wall for enclosing a side surface of the sedimenter 50 over the whole periphery. Among the back wall 61 of an installation plate 30 and the support member 60 for constituting a part of a sidewall on the inside in the vehicle width direction in the suspension tower 14, a locking piece 41 is provided in one, and a locking part 40 is provided in the other. The locking piece 41 and the locking part 40 are locked and are mutually fastened by a bolt at one point, and thereby connect the support member 60 and the suspension tower 14. In this installation structure of the sedimenter, strength of the support member 60 is higher than strength of the suspension tower 14, and strength of the locking part 40 is higher than strength of the locking piece 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
