PURPOSE: To mount a shielding body after the contents of a transformer are assembled by fitting a conductive supporter, which has a curved surface and supports the shielding body, on the side of a core clamping fitting when a shielding material is mounted to the clamping fitting and an electric field to a core is relaxed.
CONSTITUTION: A winding 1 is wound on the outer circumference of a core 2, an insulator 4 is set up on the lower side of the winding 1 while being positioned to the lower section of the core 2, and the insulator 4 is supported by the upper surface 3b of a U-shaped core clamping fitting 3 while the core 2 is clamped by the fitting 3. One end of a conductive supporter 11 is welded to the inner surface 3A of the fitting 3 and the other end is bent and projected to the outside of the fitting 3, and a slender pipe or solid-shaped shielding body 10 having a circular section is fitted to the other end and the shielding body 10 is grounded. Accordingly, the shielding body 10 can be mounted even after the insulator 4 and the winding 1 are fitted to the core 2, and the surface curvature of the shielding body 10 can be selected optimally.
