To improve work efficiency in mounting an upper end part of a shock absorber on a body.
This mounting structure of the shock absorber 10 is furnished with a guide pin 18 to position the shock absorber 10 at a mounting position on a shock absorber mounting surface 14 formed on the body 12 and an absorber bracket 20 mounted on the upper end part of the shock absorber 10 and positioned by contacting with the guide pin 18, the shock absorber mounting surface 14 is diagonally formed against an axis of the shock absorber 10 at the mounting position, and the guide pin 18 is arranged to regulate movement of the positioned absorber bracket 20 in the inclining direction of the shock absorber mounting surface 14.
