Abstract:
To provide a fitting structure of a soft member, in which the soft member hardly comes off, such that a writing instrument is assembled with no need of positioning in the rotation direction around a shaft center of the soft member, which can thereby enhance the productivity of the writing instrument.SOLUTION: Provided is a fitting structure of a soft member in a writing instrument 1 in which a soft member 3 is fitted to a cylindrical body 2 formed of a barrel or a cap, via a connection member 4. On an inner face of the body 2, a fitting part 20 for locking the connection member 4 is provided. On the soft member 3, an exposed part 30 exposed to an outer part of the body 2, a fitting shaft 31 continued to the exposed part 30 and fitted to the connection member 4, and a diameter expanded part 32 continued to an end part on an opposite side of the exposed part 30 of the fitting shaft 31 are provided. To the connection member 4, a connection part 41 engaged with the fitting part 20 and an arm part 42 opened outward in the radial direction and sandwiching the fitting shaft 31 from both sides in the radial direction are provided.
