The mounting structure of a surface-mounted piezoelectric oscillator 1 comprises an piezoelectric oscillation element, an integrated circuit element, an insulation base 2, and a lid 3. A plurality of external terminal electrodes are formed at the end part of one main surface of the base, with a piezoelectric oscillation element measuring terminal formed therebetween. One main surface of an external circuit board includes a conductive region 55 where a wiring pad to which the external terminal electrode is connected and wiring are formed, and other region 56 where they are not formed. When the wiring pad of the circuit board is joined to the external terminal electrode of the base, a conductive layer 562 is formed which is connected to a ground electrode under an insulating layer on the surface, in the other region where the piezoelectric oscillation element measuring terminal is arranged in opposed manner.
