Abstract:
The utility model provides an assembly structure of a tensioning unit of an internal combustion engine for a vehicle, which can improve the assembly strength of the tensioning unit and reduce the vibration input from the tensioning unit to a cover member. An engine (7) is provided with: a motor generator (16) that is provided on the front-side section (11a) side of a cylinder block (11) and to which power is transmitted from an engine main body (9) via a drive belt (41A); a water pump (17) which is attached to the upper protrusion (11A) and the lower protrusion (11B) and to which power is transmitted from the engine main body (9) via a drive belt (41B); and a tension means (43) for adjusting the tension of the drive belt (41A). The tensioning unit (43) has attachment parts (44B, 44C) attached to the chain cover (21), and the attachment parts (44B) are provided between the upper protruding part (11A) and the lower protruding part (11B) in the height direction of the engine (7).
