To enhance the mounting rigidity of the upper end of a shock absorber without increasing the weight of a car body and the car manufacturing cost.
A bracket 20 is provided with a main body 22 as a support part supporting the upper end of the shock absorber 18, and connecting members 26, 28 connected integrally with the main body 22 and connected-fixed to the car body in the mounting structure of the upper end of the shock absorber 18 connected to a suspension member at the lower end thereof. The connecting members 26, 28 are connected-fixed to the vertical wall part 10A of a wheel house 10. The center P of the pivotal movement of the shock absorber 18 due to the bound and rebound of wheels is positioned to the plane of the vertical wall part 10A when seen along the vertical wall part 10A of the wheel house 10. Most part of load in the direction along the axis 42 of the shock absorber 18 is transmitted to the car body along the vertical wall part 10A.
