To provide an installation structure of an operation section for a vehicle capable of ensuring high operability of an operation panel and enabling a side-thru operation between a driver's seat and a front passenger's seat.

A center console box 2 is provided, backward of a vehicle, distant from an instrument panel 9 in a vehicle interior and between the driver's seat and the passenger's seat. A console lid 4 is rotatably pivoted to the center console box 2 via a rotating shaft 8. On the console lid 4, there is provided an operation section 6 which is arranged with operation switches 7 for on-vehicle electric appliances such as an audio system and a car navigation system.
