To provide a structure for economically and rationally mounting a battery forming a motive power source for a hybrid automobile and an inverter device on a vehicle, to provide a mounting structure in which a device or a part is not dispersedly arranged at respective positions of the vehicle and inspection work is easily performed by a maintenance person or a driver, and to provide a form for particularly mounting the heavy battery which is dangerous when a terminal voltage contacts with a human body by providing a rational protection structure and heat release structure.
The mounting structure mounts on a shelf with a two-stage structure provided at a frame lateral side part of the vehicle. The battery is arranged on an upper stage taking into consideration necessity to access from above, and the inverter is arranged on the lower stage since respective parts are lighter in weight than the battery even if there is a possibility that a part of the parts is replaced. They are mounted on a frame position accessable from the side of the vehicle.
