Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to enhance watertightness between a frame member and a panel and assemble easily, and what is more, to strengthen the structure as well.
CONSTITUTION: In window panel mounting structure where a panel member 9 is mounted to frame members 7 and 8 which constitute a window frame 3 or rails 7 and 8 of a sliding door 4, the frame members 7 and 8 are assembled with a metal frame 8 and a wooden frame 7. The panel member 9 is clamped and fixed between a presser piece 32 of the metal frame 9 and the contact surface 71 of the wooden frame 7 with the metal frame 9 placed in contact with the contact surface 71 of the wooden frame 7. An outdoor side double-sided adhesive tape 41 is interposed between the presser piece 32 of the metal frame 8 and the contact surface of the wooden frame 7 while an indoor side double- sided adhesive tape 42 is interposed between the metal frame 8 and the panel member 9 and the contact surface 71 of the wooden frame 7.
