MOUSE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2592046
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily move a cursor in any place on a screen by freely' changing the moving speed of the cursor by changing the the frequency of a pulse according to the distance between a reference location and the existence location of a mouse.
CONSTITUTION: When a power source is turned on, a motor 16 is rotated, the rotation is transmitted to a worm gear 18 and a worm pinion gear 17 and a tapered rubber roller 19b is rotated. In this state, a turntable 13 is not rotated, but when the turntable 13 is lowered, a shaft bar 22 is lowered by the working of a spring 21, a roller 19a is brought into contact with the roller 19b, the rotation is transmitted and the turntable 13 is rotated. When a mouse is normally moved on the turntable 13, a cursor moves in the same way as a conventional mouse device because the turntable 13 does not rotate. When the mouse is slightly pressed on the turntable 13 and is slightly moved in the right direction from a center, the rotation is transmitted to a trackpole 11 and a cursor 4 continues to move at equal speed in the right direction on the screen.
