Abstract:
To provide a retention device in which a shape of an upper jaw anterior teeth portion aesthetically requiring maintenance of the shape is hard to be returned, and the correction of a device upper jaw front teeth tongue side slope can be performed, and further occlusion reconstruction and fine adjustment of the length of lower jaw front teeth can be performed while wearing the device, and also it is used for a long time until the position of the corrected teeth is stabilized, and therefore it is a thin type capable of enduring for a long-term use to thereby enable occlusion adjustment.SOLUTION: A mouthpiece type orthodontic retention device is provided with an opening consecutive to a mouthpiece for an upper jaw and/or a lower jaw, respectively, and thereby adjusts the thickness in the occlusion surface. The reduction of posterior teeth part can be improved by the mouthpiece type orthodontic retention device, and thereby the retention can be performed while adjusting the bite.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
