Abstract:
To provide a movable bumper cover structure for a vehicle whereby generation of noise caused by flapping of a bumper cover can be prevented in ordinary traveling.
A front bumper 12 is constituted by a non-movable part 14 and a movable part 18, and a longitudinal end 30A of a movable part bumper cover 30 and a front end 36A of a non-movable part bumper cover 36 are mutually connected by a connecting device 38 constituted by a movable part cartridge 42, a non-movable part cartridge 44 and a spring 46. Therefore, the longitudinal end 30A of the movable part bumper cover 30 is prevented from being flapped in ordinary traveling of the vehicle. As a result, the generation of the noise can be prevented.
