Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an actuator used for a microphone or speaker which is so constituted as to generate a larger output than applied electric power by using an electromagnet which has a superconducting field coil as a magnet. CONSTITUTION: A movable coil 5 is movable in the air gap between electromagnetic field coils 7a and 7b and 8a and 8b. Those field coils 7a and 7b and 8a and 8b form field coil couples, between which a magnetic field directed to the center is produced. The direction of the magnetic field in the air gap 6 is as shown by arrows 9 and 10. The respective coils 7a and 7b and 8b and 8b are formed of soft magnetic iron cores and superconducting field coil 11. The movable coil also may be formed of a superconductive material. The movable coil 5 moves in the air gap 6 when operating and is drawn in the air gap and pushed out according to the field in the air gap.
