To obtain a movable contact device in which the coupling between a movable piece receiver and a movable contactor can be simplified, and the assurance of an electrical path between a conductor connection part of the movable piece receiver and a side surface part of the movable contactor is facilitated and the contact surface pressure between them is also facilitated by suppressing deformation of the movable piece receiver after the coupling between the movable piece receiver and the movable contactor.
On the side surfaces of the movable contactor 17 as a constituent of the movable contact device of a circuit breaker, taper-shaped grooves 17e are provided which serve as coupling paths of protrusions 18c of the movable piece receiver 18 and deepens in the coupling direction at the time of the coupling between the movable piece receiver 18 and the movable contactor 17.
