To provide a movable contact member capable of lengthening strokes of the movable contact member without reducing life of the movable contact member, and miniaturizing a switching device using the movable contact member, and to provide the switching device using the movable contact member.
A movable contact member 1 is constituted by including: a swollen part 11 which swells like a dome and is capable of performing reverse operation by the pressing force; and a skirt part 12 which is continuously formed from an outer peripheral edge 11a of the swollen part 11. The skirt part 12 has a notch 32 notched at portions in four directions, portions except the notch 32 of the skirt part 12 are contact parts 52, the notch 32 of the skirt part 12 swells toward the side of the swollen part 11 so that the portions except the notch 32 of the skirt part 12 can be grounded, a notched face of the notch 32 is formed into a linear shape or a gentle curved shape at a state that the skirt part 12 does not swell. In addition, a switching device 201 is constituted by using the movable contact member 1.
